Recent Coaching Engagements 

FMCG - CEO Presentation

We were engaged to work with the CEO and Director of HR who were due to deliver joint presentation at an industry forum.  We helped them craft the presentation and then worked on the delivery of the presentation so it reinforced the key elements they wanted to share with those attending the conference.  It was a great success and we have subsequently worked with the CEO on additional conference presentations.

Aviation – Safety

We were engaged to work with a senior safety auditor on general management and communication skills. The GENOS Emotional Intelligence 360 degree feedback tool was used as a guide for the coaching discussions.   The outcome of the executive coaching program was increased awareness of impact with others and adjustment of communication style to work with others.  There was also increased confidence in managing others in a project context.

Academia - Deans and Senior Executives

We have been engaged to work with the senior level of executives and deans within an academic institution.  Coaching requirements range from: managing difficult team situations, managing time and workload, performance management, communicating with others, operational strategy plans, influencing others, negotiating salary packages, pitching ideas and authentic leadership issues.

Financial Services - CFO Analyst Briefings 

We are regularly engaged by the CFO of a major financial services organization.  We assist him with the key message development and dress rehearsal stage of his presentation to analysts, employee roadshows and major conferences. The coaching outcomes include: targeted motivational leadership presentations, development of presentation skills (which are also carried over to other major meetings such as board presentations), increased motivation, increased energy and increased confidence to present in different environments.

Program Type: Facilitation Skills Program 

Program Content: Conflict Resolution, Managing Difficult People, Skills to Manage a Tough Facilitation Forum, Planning a Facilitation. 

Program Outcomes: Participants noted increased skill levels, exposure to new facilitation and dialogue skills, increased confidence in dealing with difficult situations. 

The Outcome Six Months on: Participants still using the skills learnt six months after the program and now asking for an advanced program to polish their skill level.

Program Type: Dialogue for Engagement - A Skills Series 

Program Content: Dialogue and Deliberation techniques to improve the culture of engagement within the business. 

Program Outcomes: Participants noted increased comfort in convening dialogue meetings where they did less of the talking and more of the listening.  The leaders in the division were delighted to note that employees were prepared to talk with each other and share ideas.  The participatory decision making processes have helped the leaders and team members work together to find beneficial outcomes for the business. 

The Outcome Six Months on: A full schedule of participatory decision making dialogue sessions are now in place in the business.  There has been a substantial increase in the engagement levels of employees in the division.
